I’m an NBA fan and love to play and watch basketball and since career high of a player is an achievements I love to track and list down NBA players, legends and current superstar. The NBA is a global game since the 90’s during Michael Jordan era and the Bulls, it reached a global status that even foreign player got the chance to play on the big league. Here are some of the current players and great names that make it big in the NBA: Tony Kukoc, Luc Longley, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobli, Pero Antic, Gasol brothers and others.
Talents, love of the game and desire are the common factor on achieving such great accomplishments that will be etched in the history. A player can score a hundred points in a single game, make a pass or assist and be the best rebounder every night and this is tracked down by NBA statistics. A place that every points, rebounds, assist , minutes and even turn over are measured. A statistical sheet that we will get the details and most accurate information about our top NBA players.
But for now lets me list some of my favorite nba career high in points in a single game.
Michael Jordan 69 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers March 28, 1990 he is not the player that scored most point in a single game but his the greatest of all when it comes to scoring. A reliable guard and defensive guy that can propel a team to great achievements and success. The Bulls is not unstoppable without MJ as it was shown after he leave the game and came back to win another three championship rings.
Kobe Bryant 81 points against Toronto Raptors January 22, 2006 another scoring machine and a great performance, he seems to be unstoppable and all shot will go in. He break the defense down of the Raptors and it punish the rim with a perfect shooting performance and aggressive offensive attack. The fans witnessed a very spectacular performance of Kobe Bryant career high. He got five championship rings and probably stay for 3-4 years in the league but the 81 points in a single game is a great achievement that only a true superstar can break.
Kevin Durant 54 against the Golden State Warrior January 17, 2014 . He is the league MVP 2013-2014 after 2012 loss to the Miami Heat Kevin improves a lot he became all time scoring champ and lift the Thunder to the second spot of the NBA playoffs. Kevin is a scoring machine he can shoot 3 , play post up and can win an isolation play. He can pull up and create a shoot and he is unstoppable when hot. Thunder success is in the hand of Kevin Durant and his partner Russell Westbrook and still they need to build up a team to win a championship.
Jeremy Lin 38 against the San Antonio Spurs. Linsanity is the name that sound during the New York Knicks quest to the playoffs. He is unknown kid and was given a chance to prove and redeem his self and become a spotlight. A backup guard and almost give up since no playing time was given but he remain focused and prove and score a career high that shock the world. Jeremy Lin story is very inspiring and he was given a role, right now he is with the Houston Rockets and still searching to have a title or a ring. He might not win a ring but the run that he did in New York to be known as a bench kid and was given a chance to prove and play the game that he love.
Derrick Rose 44 against the Atlanta Hawks May 6, 2011 he is fast, strong and too good. The youngest MVP in the league a very explosive guard that can attack the basket, drive for a slam and shoot a ball. The trip to the finals against the Miami Heat is a failure but the young and talented Bulls still a playoff contender. Right now Derrick is in full recovery mode after two surgery on both knee and missed almost 2 years playing basketball I’m hoping that he can get back to his MVP form. The Bulls is still in the playoff contender even Derrick is not active.
Kyrie Irving 44 against the Charlotte Bobcats April 05, 2014 when it comes to talented point guard right now in the NBA Kyrie is on the list. He has a killer crossover and known as Uncle Drew . He is the franchise player of the Cleveland Cavalier after LeBron James games left. Kyrie needs to build up his team and make sure not to leave Cleveland as incident happen twice in a game as a fan is begging Kyrie to stay. He need to be consistent not only on scoring but on getting plays and making his team mate good.
LeBron James 61 against the Charlotte Bobcats. King James as everybody knows he is the face of the NBA right now because of his dominant play and ability. A very talented player that no one can stop on post up, isolation and fast break. King James nba career high show case his shooting, passing and complete dominance. He is still young and can possibly break any records set by all time greats like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and other legends. He is looking for his 3rd championship with the Heat and this year he is facing Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs as a rematch.
