About Terrence Ross

He is an American basketball player and plays for the Toronto Raptors. Listed at 6"6' and playing the shooting guard/small forward position. He played two years at Jefferson high school before transferring to Montrose Christian School in Maryland. During his college freshman year he is averaging 8.0  points, 2.8 rebounds and 1 assist per game. His game improved on his sophomore year averaging 16.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. 2012 when he entered the NBA draft and was selected by the Toronto Raptors round 1 8th overall. Terrence Ross rookie season he is averaging 6.0 points per game but he won the 2013 Sprite Slam Dunk contest defeating Jeremy Evans. He also set the record as the first player to score 51 career high points while averaging 10 points per game. Terrence is known for his high flying jumping ability but he need to improve his shooting and consistency as he can be one of  the key player for the young Toronto Raptors team. During the 2013-2014 playoff they beat the Chicago Bulls and face the veteran Brooklyn Nets on the second round but the unexperience young Raptors was defeated by the veterans Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. The 2013-2014 NBA season he is candidate for Dunk of the Year as he made a monster jam against Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets.
